Withdrawal, Returns, and Cancellation
You have the statutory right to withdraw from or cancel your Order within 14 days without giving any reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This right applies from the moment you or a third party nominated by you (other than the carrier) receives the last good in your Order.
How to Exercise Your Right to Cancel
To cancel, inform us by making a clear statement (e.g., an email) using our email address contact@hertfordshirefencing.co.uk. For proof of cancellation, it's advisable to keep a copy of your cancellation notification.
Returning Goods After Cancellation
Once you have cancelled your Contract under these statutory rights, you need to return the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day you communicate your cancellation to us.
- Customer-Arranged Return: You are free to return the items at your own cost to Twin Barnes, Stevenage, SG2 7HD. For your protection, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
- Flat Rate Return Service: Alternatively, you can opt for our flat rate return service costing £60, which includes handling and shipping. Contact us at contact@hertfordshirefencing.co.uk for arrangements. This amount will be deducted from your total refund.
Deduction for Mishandling of Goods
If the returned goods are not in their original condition due to unnecessary handling and/or storage beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functionality, we reserve the right to deduct a percentage from your refund. This deduction will be proportional to the diminished value of the goods, and we will provide a detailed justification for any such deduction.
Effects of Cancellation
If you cancel this Contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery, without undue delay and no later than:
- 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
- (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods.
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss results from unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
Risk and Title
Risk transfers to you upon delivery. Ownership transfers once we receive full payment. We reserve the right to reclaim Goods if payment is overdue or in the event of your bankruptcy.
Conformity and Guarantee
Goods must match their description and be fit for any specified purpose upon delivery. We align with manufacturer guarantees where applicable.
